Another match is now official for "SummerSlam" on Aug. 18 in Los Angeles: AJ Lee and Big E. Langston will team up to take on Kaitlyn and Dolph Ziggler.
The Miz somehow was granted booking powers for the biggest party of the summer, as he made a match on the episode of SmackDown airing tonight on SyFy pitting AJ Lee & Big E. Langston vs. Kaitlyn & Dolph Ziggler at the SummerSlam pay-per-view (PPV) scheduled for Sun., Aug. 18, 2013, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
I guess being guest host as its advantages.
Really, this was a direction the promotion was always headed. Ziggler broke apart from Lee and Langston sooner than originally planned but with AJ embroiled in a blood feud with Kaitlyn, it's no surprise we're getting a mixed tag match between the two sides.
The question is whether or not this is a blowoff or leading to the next step in the progression, whatever that may be. After all, is Langston's constant flirting with Kaitlyn on Twitter ever going to spill over to television?
We shall see.
