On Raw 7/15/13 John Cena was given an opportunity by new Raw General Manager Brad Maddox to choose his next challenger at SummerSlam for the WWE Championship. The Champ Cena could have taken the easiest way out. Instead, he did choose an opponent, a Superstar is consider the top performer of 2013 and deserving, Daniel Bryan.

Choosing the submission specialist as the No. 1 contender for the title, Cena showed respect for Bryan and the WWE Universe. Before naming the no.1 contender, Cena asked the WWE Universe by valuing their opinion into consideration. Cena chose Bryan wisely, and the WWE Universe shouted "Yes!" with Bryan.

Bryan Moreover, is the best performer in recent months, he won a submission victory over Randy Orton, have established Bryan to the WWE Universe, which now brings the bearded warrior to the top with the Cenation commander.

Cena and Bryan’s roads to the main event for the biggest party of the summer are similar, these two warriors has been in each paths 10 years ago. The Champ has been is WWE for almost 10 years since the day he has arrived, Cena has showed us his power play offense numerous times by winning 13 World Title Championship. Bryan, a  1 time World Heavyweight Champion, but he never won the WWE Title ever, with no doubt he is technically gifted competitor today.

Despite their different style Cena and Bryan are bonded share the same desire to be the absolute best in WWE, and only one WWE Championship Title signifies that.
